The Process
ACEOs
ACEOs are Art Cards, Editions and Originals! I am new to the ACEO collecter community, but I was immediately drawn to their emphasis on accessible art for all! The ONLY rule when making ACEOs is they must be 2.5x3.5in to fit in a standard baseball or pokemon card collectors' binder. My original ACEOs are only available for Bid on eBay, but I have turned my favorites into some super fun items for you guys to try!
The Process
Stamp Making
Each "Stamp" is digitally drawn from a photo taken by me, traced & transferred to Lino. Once I'm happy with the design, I go ahead and hand carve each piece. For smaller pieces like this, I use traditional Art Ink pads. Sometimes, I customize the piece after printing (like adding whiskers or eyebrows) and sometimes the work is complete as is!

The Process
Printing
For me, printing is the hardest part of the Linocut process. Over the years, I have trialed different inks, brayers, paper types, dampness levels, and so so much more. While I have definitely been able to improve my printing skills over that time, I have also learned to love the imperfections that are inherent to the art form. Each print is unique and that's a GOOD thing!
